In his project management role, Thomas is responsible for BIM and information management roles for clients and their consultant teams, as well as developing more intelligent digital workflows for designers. Thomas specialises in Revit and coordination tools such as Solibri and Navisworks. His interests lie in using BIM software to maximise efficiency and collaborative working. Thomas completed his architectural technology degree between Copenhagen and Northumbria University.
How would you summarise your current role?
Project Manager, responsible for BIM and information management roles for clients and their consultant teams, as well as developing more intelligent digital workflows for designers.
What inspires you?
Running records being broken – we can all get more efficient!
What do you believe are the current challenges in our industry and how can we overcome them?
I believe the biggest challenges the industry currently faces is a skills shortage and a low productivity rate. Digital ways of working, implementation of technology will help overcome these, leading to efficiency gains and improved quality of projects.
What is your proudest moment?
Breaking the 1hr25 mark in a half marathon, whilst running around my favourite city (Copenhagen).
What added value do you bring to your projects?
Expertise in technical design, 3D modelling, data authoring and coordination, as well as developing BIM protocols. A keen interest in researching new and emerging software solutions and applying these to enhance project delivery. A commitment to understanding and improving how organisations implement BIM within their working practices to deliver enhanced quality, value and certainty in meeting project aims.
