What inspires you?
Learning new things on a daily basis. I might find inspiration in creating digital artwork or by coding a small game project. I find most inspiration from the process of creating something from nothing.
What is your proudest moment?
Switching my career to go to University and achieve a first-class honours degree in a completely different field.
What added value do you bring to your projects?
My flexibility is my strongest asset. I’ve worn many hats in my past employment and hobbies: Technical support, Brand management, project management, artwork creation, 3D Games development, Web and software development ranging from front-end to backend development. All these different skills come together to allow up with solutions to many different types of problems and this allows me to fill many gaps in a team.
What’s going to be the next big thing for the digital built environment?
I think that Virtual reality is going to make some huge changes to the way we interact with computers and the world around us giving people who perhaps don’t use computers a more natural and physical way to interact with their work. I believe this could have a similar and as far reaching impact as the mobile phone did in the years to come.
What is the best book you’ve ever read?
Ready Player One! It’s an amazing book that I couldn’t put down until I finished it.
