Kenneth Kelly
Senior Lecturer

Kenneth started his working life with a brief spell in The Royal Engineers. He spent 23 years working in the built environment across both private and public sector in a variety of roles including Project Management, Property Development, Estate Redevelopment and Asset Management. Immediately prior to joining the teaching staff (at Northumbria University) on the Building Surveying course in 2011, he was Property Services Manager at Durham Police. He is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), the British Institute of Facilities Management (CBIFM), a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA) and is currently Chair to the RICS Newcastle Buildings Surveying Professional Group. He is currently doing research for his PhD in BIM for Facility Management.
