Forest City digital FM solution shortlisted in two industry awards

We are delighted to announce BIM Academy has been shortlisted in the British Construction Industry Awards (BCIA) and NCE TechFest awards for our pioneering work on Forest City in Johor, Malaysia.

 

The project has been nominated as a finalist in BCIA’s Digital Transformation Project of the Year: Buildings category and sits alongside the likes of Atkins, Sir Robert McAlpine and Zaha Hadid.

Developing a Digital Asset Information Model for a Smart City

Forest City is a pioneering development consisting of four huge man-made islands on the straits of Johor, with a total land area of 1,386ha.  An enterprise of Country Garden Pacificview, this smart Eco City will accommodate an estimated 700,000 residents and offer international buyers luxury homes in a multi-layered urban planning concept in lush green surroundings.  The Landmark Building is the focal point of the first phase of construction for Forest City.
